The common cold, which we are much more prone to in the Winter Months, is caused by over 200 different viruses that can attack the upper respiratory tract. They are airborne and transmitted from one person to the other via the air we breath.


The presence of a depressed immune system or nutrient deficiencies may be more prone to catching colds. Other common causes or factors that contribute to the likelihood of catching a cold include: lack of sleep, emotional stress, mold exposure, unhealthy digestive tract and traveling.
