Got back tonight from The Hills Food Frontier’s evening watching the documentary made by The Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance entitled “Fair Food” … lots to say. Lots to think about.

It seems friends, our Food System is not just broken, it is killing us. Our farmers are leaving farms in droves because they cannot make farming work in the current food production system. The situation is so far from good, that our farmers are more than twice as likely to commit suicide than a member of any other profession at the moment.

Our food production processes, our food industry is far from fair, regenerative or sustainable. We may have lost personal power to a lack of understanding and to complacency or believing ‘someone else has it covered’ but we still have and will always have the power of choice. We can choose to take back our power, at any time. As I was driving home with Clangers, thinking about all ‘the trouble’, I heard the words of “Human” wafting in to my befuddled mind on the wind, blown in from the dreaming … also, briefly – in other news I won the raffle.

Not sure why, but this often happens. Good Times.
