Age spots are just a normal part of the transformation of skin changing as it ages. They usually begin as tan spots that surface on the hands, arms, feet or chest. They can be considered unattractive, and they are a constant remind of our age.

Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe vera gel is a beauty treatment that seems to have stood the test of time. The clear liquid that is pressed from the thick, fleshy leaves of the aloe vera plant, it promotes the growth of normal skin cells. The aloe vera gel that has been commercialized does not appear to work as effectively. Use aloe vera gel straight from the plant to fade age spots on your hands and face. The fresher the aloe, the better the results.
Lemon Juice
Lemon juice has a secret of mild acidity. This is a good reason to reach for lemon aid when treating age spots. Dab a cotton bud into lemon juice and put on the spots at least twice a day. The citric acid it contains is just strong enough to safely peel off the skin’s upper layer. The peeling action can remove or lighten some age spots. Citric acid is also the active ingredient in some cosmetic bleach sold to lighten the appearance of freckles and nails. Sometimes a couple of months of treatment is needed to see results.
